CHIN 234

Intensive Basic Chinese II (for non-heritage students)

CHIN 234 (6 credits) (8hrs/week)

The fastest way to master a language is to incorporate it in our lives. CHIN 234 is a course continuation of CHIN 133. The course aims to build up more complex language syntax while incorporating real-life scenarios. The course not only polishes one’s reading and writing skills, but also focuses on self expression and storytelling via speaking and listening. The course incorporates oral practice with Chinese native speakers to help students experience a face to face conversation. By the end of this course, students will be able to communicate with native speakers in a casual setting.
