Entering the big market! CHIN 435 is an advanced Chinese course for heritage students focusing on reading, writing, and presentation skills in business documentation. The course specifically focuses on technical Chinese as used in the workplace. Emphasis on specialized vocabulary and development of communicative competence as relevant to advertising, the stock market and E-commerce.This course corresponds with the ACTFL Advanced-Mid Level Language Proficiency.Textbook : Close the Deal-Advanced Chinese for Creative and Productive Business
Prerequisite : CHIN 347 or equivalent.
Placement interview : required.

Credit will be granted for only one of CHIN 435 or CHIN 321.
CHIN435 or CHIN441 –> Progress to CHIN437 or CHIN443, respectively
