Wondering where an Asian Studies degree can take you? The Virtual Asian Studies Careers Workshop is a pilot program that will connect Asian Studies students with employers and career opportunities. The aim of the workshop is to help students feel more confident in exploring their future career path. It is open to Asian Studies undergraduate and graduate students. Students from other disciplines are also welcome to attend.
The workshop on January 31 features Communications Security Establishment (CSE), Canada’s national cryptologic agency. CSE is the national hub for cyber operations to defend Canada and advance national interests as well as to provide technical and operational assistance to federal law enforcement and security agencies. During this workshop, CSE recruiters and Subject Matter Experts (SME) will introduce you to the organization and their career opportunities, specifically the Foreign Language Intelligence Analyst (FLIA)(Chinese) role (both professional position and co-op position) which are open for applications. Come and learn about what it takes to become a FLIA at Canada’s national cryptologic agency!
